OTCbid - Bitcoin trading volume hits 3-month high as investors abandon fiat




























" Despite Bitcoin (BTC) recording significant corrections in 2022, the asset is witnessing increased investor activity. In this line, Bitcoin’s trading volume has risen steadily as the flagship cryptocurrency appears to meet its expectations of being a safe haven asset in the high inflationary environment. 

In particular, as of September 29, Bitcoin’s trading volume hit its highest level since mid-June to stand at $42.68 billion, on-chain data by Santiment indicates.

Trading volume fails to reflect on BTC’s price

Although Bitcoin trading volume is surging, the activity has failed to reflect on the asset’s price which continues to be outweighed by the prevailing macroeconomic factors like high inflation and increasing interest rates.

  • Buyer = 5%

  1. The Buyer shall pay the Escrowed Funds for the relevant tranche to the Escrow Agent via wire transfer to the specified Escrow Account.

  2. The Escrow Agent shall notify the Buyer and Seller of its receipt of the Escrowed Funds for the relevant tranche

  3. The Seller shall Setup a Blockchain btc Escrow wallet and populate the wallet to be under the control of the escrow agent for BTC according to relevant tranche ( or maybe more or for all required tranches);

  4. The Escrow Agent shall confirm its receipt of the BTC per the relevant trpanche to the Seller and Buyer (and or if more BTC for the next or all required tranches).

  5. The Escrow Agent shall release the Escrowed Funds to the bank account nominated by the Seller.

  6. The Seller shall confirm its receipt of Escrowed Funds to the Escrow Agent.

  7. Upon confirmation of the funds receipts by Seller, Seller shall Authorise the Escrow agent to release the BTC for the relevant tranche to the Buyer's nominated wallet. Seller, shall pay all broker's fees accordingly.

  8. The Buyer shall confirm to the Escrow Agent ( and to the Seller ) that it has received the BTC for the relevant tranche. Escrow Agent to serve as escrow agent hereunder, and the Escrow Agent agrees to act as escrow agent hereunder, in accordance with the provisions, upon the terms, and subject to the conditions, of this Agreement. The Escrow Money shall be held by Escrow Agent in escrow pursuant to the terms hereof. Any interest on the Escrow Money shall inure to the benefit of the Party B.

  9. If the Party A fails to transfer BTC to Party B at the contractual tranche rate for a period of 24 to 48 hour then the Buyer may send notice to the Escrow Agent and the Seller by Email and confirmed by telephone call and the Seller will have 24 to 48 hours to remedy the situation or the Escrow will be returned to the Buyer.

  10. Both parties may jointly agree to pause tranches for a mutually agreed time period without impacting the Escrow. To be confirmed by Email and Phone to the Escrow Agent.
