" Via CloudAve, American Banker is running a substantial piece on Dutch banking giant ING’s move into the cloud. Predictably, the company has started out with a large “private cloud” deployment—essentially a virtualization roll-out—and they’re taking the next step by preparing to move to a hybrid cloud model. Of course, there’s a twist to ING’s hybrid approach: the public part of ING’s cloud will also be owned and run by ING, but what makes it “public” will be that it’s open to other users.
